ARTIST STATEMENT

I am a conceptual photography artist with multisensory hyperphantasia.My work depicts the way I perceive the world and expresses my experiences with profound grief, despair, and isolation. Each piece is an exploration of how hyperphantasia has influenced my experiences and memories, from early childhood trauma to the wondrous, strange beauty of the everyday.These visual creations are a reflection, rather than an intended statement; an opportunity to confront our individual and hidden selves together. I hope that you might see yourself and your own experiences in my work. Should it resonate with you, I will have made a meaningful connection with another person that otherwise feels elusive.
